Early British military double action breechloading revolver chambered in .450 Adams, manufactured circa 1973. Features a blued finish, 5 3/4" octagon bbl that is integral to the frame, dovetailed blade front sight, 'v' notched rear sight, non-fluted five shot cylinder, ejector rod, rounded trigger, knurled hammer spur and checkered one-piece walnut grip. The serial numbers on the frame, ejector rod & cylinder are are matching. There appears to have been a retail or makers mark on the top strap but is no longer visible. The markings on the frame are faint but it is believed to read "ADAMS PATENT No 1 456" & "B.3077" among various military proofs. The revolver has been refinished and shows scattered oxidation & pin prick pitting. Action is good, the bore is very good, markings are fair and the wood grip is fair to good. Condition is NRA Good. ***Antique Firearm*** From The John F Sukey Collection
