Letterhead has additional printed advertising on left margin describing the services and products the company provides including Paper Watermarking, Single sheet cutting machines, Paper Moulds for Bank Notes, Paper Testing Machines, Envelope cutters and other products. 2 page letter describes box being shipped to New York via SS Richmond Hill with markings on crate containing Moulds (for watermarking) including an experiment for embossing or watermarking (I assume) With 1 Mould for American Bank Note Co. New York and 1 Mould with raised "Head of Goddess". Also included is an illustrated small flier ad for a Paper Testing machine for testing the paper strength. Rare and historic ABNC internal correspondence for paper and watermarks.
