Jalisco, Mexico, Late Pre-Classic Period, ca. 300 BC – AD 300. This majestic figure holds his club (perhaps a weapon of war) as if it were a royal scepter. His forehead rises to a tall, imposing hat; he holds a bowl in his left hand and wears earrings on both ears. 15”T x 7-3/4”W, repaired.
