A rare example, the waisted grip wrought entirely of silver, the pommel and ferrule with applied filigreed panels and gilding. The fine blade straight and double-edged with continuous taper, and struck at the forte with a maker's mark. A twistcoredamascus panel visible along the central ridge, the edges wrought of dense black wootz. The wooden scabbard covered entirely in silver, the locket, chape and borders filigreed en suite with the hilt.
