19th century, chinese export porcelain vase decorated with hand painted overglaze enamels in the famille rose color palette and the painting depicts the emperor and his entourage and visitors standing under a pine tree. Being export porcelain, the vase is not signed and it doesn’t have any identifying marks; but we believe it was made between 1880 and 1899. The vase stands a little over 16¾ inches high and almost 8¼ inches in diameter at its widest point. There is a short stress hairline in the glaze on its reverse side and there was a two-piece chip on its rim that has been re-glued in place; otherwise, the vase is in very good condition, without any other damage or repairs and virtually all of its hand painted overglaze enamel decorations are intact.
