1917 1C Doubled Die Obverse MS64 Red and Brown PCGS. Breen-2081, FS-013. Broad doubling is noted on TRUST, and on all four numerals of the date. Unusually bright satiny luster increases the eye appeal of the piece. A distinct woodgrain effect is produced by the streaky patina over both sides. Well struck and free of large marks, with a shallow, grade-limiting luster graze in the upper right obverse field. An extremely popular doubled die variety, according to David Lange.Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
