Remington Double Derringer in .41 caliber with early side address and extractor, S/N 1288. Finely and elaborately New York style scroll engraved probably by L.D. Nimschke with engraved silerv period added grips. Made Lot Title 1868 with fewer than 100 estimated to have been produced. Gray patina finish with evidence of carry and minor wear. The barrels show pitting and firing. Good hinge and good overall with well-defined engraving and Lot Title visible addresses. Former Leon Weir collection and see “The Guns of Remington” page 190. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
