The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 20” barrel with silver insert front and standard adjustable rear sights. The barrel andreceiver retain approximately 90% of their original blue finish with small scratches and mars consistent with carry and use. The receiver features a brass cartridge counter, while the lever shows toning case hardeningwith beautiful vivid colors visible on the concealed portion of the lever assembly. The smooth wood stocks are in very good condition with the fore end serialized to the rifle. The butt ends with a textured steelbutt plate which retains the majority of its blue finish. The bore is very good, the action crisp and markings are sharp on this desirable, lightly used Model 99 takedown circa 1923. Est.: $700-$1,400.
