17LR-1 SPORTERIZED ENFIELD NO 4 MK 1#C35903Sporterized Lee-Enfield No. IV Mk. I bolt action rifle, .303 British caliber, Serial #C35903. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 22” barrel with a ramped blade front sight and rear sight removed.The barrel and receiver retain the majority of an old, quality re-blue with British proofs and the military peep sight at the rear has been retained. The Fajen sporter stock is in very good condition with an ebony fore end and stylized cheek piece. The butt ends with a plastic, Fajen marked butt plate. The frame strap on the left side of the tang is dated, 1944 and marked, “R.A. Wilson”. The bore is good, the action crispand markings are sharp. $250-$500. (C+R).Sporterized Lee-Enfield No. IV Mk.
