17HT-11 COLT NAVY #75449Colt 1851 Navy revolver 4 screw variation with rare and original matching canteen shoulder stock and both are numbered 75449. This revolver remains in good original condition showing light cleaning andpolishing to gray metal finish. The markings are good and the edges are fairly crisp. The cylinder shows faint traces of the scene with Sept. 10 1850 patent markings on the cylinder. Scattered light pitting and goodaction. The front sight is an old hand made blade to match the enlarged “V” notch in the hammer. Correct swivel and 4th screw for stock attachment retained. All matching except no visible serial number on thecylinder (Never stamped). The original canteen stock is in very good plus condition with long cracks at the top of the stock from interior canteen. The numbers on the yoke, attachment jaw and butt plate are matching.Strong traces of silver with only minor dents. Original screw top for jaw, original plug and chain for canteen are still retained.
