17ASB-200 MALAYSIAN KRIS WITH STONES AND DIETYBeautiful Jeweled Malaysian Kris with carved deity handle. The Kris is in good condition with an overall length of 20”. The wavy, hand forged blade is 14 ½” in length. The blade has great figure in the metal work with a nice grey patina. The gold tone handle depicts a Malaysian deity inlayed with numerous cabochon stones with a wonderful patina. The scabbard is ornately decorated with hammered brass showing a great patinawith wear and damage at the wooden throat. This is a wonderful example of Malaysian craftsmanship and would have been the property of someone significant enough to own such an elaborate piece.
